For this project, I developed a series of videos and ads as part of a design task for Happyglam and , focusing on creative brand storytelling and engagement.
The challenge involved conceptualizing and executing visually cohesive assets that align with each brand’s aesthetic, showcasing my skills in video editing, animation, and design. Through this work, I demonstrated an ability to produce dynamic content that communicates brand values and resonates with target audiences.
Challenge
Brand/Trend
To blend popular social media aesthetics with the brand’s identity.
feed
To maintain the brand's Instagram feed cohesive.
Nature
To capture both the minimalist aesthetic and the theme of nature
sunset aperitivo intro video
My inspiration for the intro video originated from current social media trends, specifically the coquette, mob wife, and Y2K aesthetics. By blending these styles with the color palette of the collection and imagery that evokes the essence of Italian summers, I created a narrative that is both engaging for the audience and positions the brand as culturally relevant.
The video intentionally opens with footage that has an amateur feel, followed by similarly styled photos. This approach was chosen to foster an initial connection with viewers, as content with a more casual, unpolished look tends to resonate better on social media platforms today.
If posted to Instagram, it is important to maintain the cohesiveness of the brand's feed. To support this, I designed a cover that encapsulates the essence of the intro video. Additionally, I created two versions of the cover—one square and one rectangular—to accommodate Instagram's different feed display formats.
flip clokk intro video
Beginning with a dynamic collage of digital creators unboxing the Flip Clokk, the video transitions into a captivating motion scene where elements of nature meet with stylish home decor items that frame the announcement: The Flip Clokk is here.
First, this short intro video catches the viewer's attention, drawing them in to discover the object featured by influencers. And then, in a second moment, sparks the viewer's interest, engaging both the eyes and the imagination in a narrative of design excellence and connection to nature.
As a best practice in the industry, I designed a cover for the brand's feed on Instagram that works for both square and rectangular versions of the app's feed and preserves Kerbholz's minimalist aesthetic.
website banner
For the banner and subsequent static ads for Kerbholz, I focused on two key characteristics of the brand: minimalism and connection to nature (or, better saying, bringing nature into the consumer's home). I created a collage using the provided images and combined them with minimalist typography elements. The final design aligns with the brand's ethos, product design, and the consumer's desire for elegance and nature in their home.
