The goal of this project was to create a brand that not only represents the pottery studio Clayers Collective, but also to weave a cohesive narrative throughout different mediums for the atelier, ensuring a compelling narrative.
*This Clayers Collective rebranding was an experimental project and the atelier had no involvement in its completion

Bold colors, geometric shapes and many possibilities. This moodboard sets the tone for Clayer's Collective new visual identity. Just like in the ceramics world, the combination of these elements enable the artist to translate their creative ideation into art and self-expression.

primary logo
The essence of the primary logo is based on two key concepts: movement and collectivity. The stroke fluctuates in width, which captures the fluidity and precision reminiscent of the pottery wheel's motion. The three distinct pottery items visually communicate the brand's unity, and reference the term 'collective.' They showcase the versatile nature of ceramic, and pays homage to the communal spirit that defines the very core of the Clayers Collective brand.

Instead of a Secondary Logo: A Secondary Logo System. Here we give Clayers Collective more possibilities, keeping the same unity and recognisability.
Wordmark
The wordmark remains similar to the original one. Its simplicity gives the possibility and flexibility of using it in small or busy areas.

The selection of illustrations draws inspiration from the intricate details of pottery craftsmanship, encapsulating the beauty found in the artisanal process.
Our supporting graphics leverage the repetition of bold geometrical shapes, infusing a sense of order and playfulness.
This dynamic visual identity, with its harmonious and bold color palette, extends beyond the logo, creating
a unified and memorable brand experience across various touchpoints.
Together, those elements play a pivotal role in conveying the essence of Clayers Collective—where artistry and community intertwine to form a tapestry of creativity.

Our primary colours form a clean and timeless trinity: #FFFFFF (White), #000000 (Black), and #F9F5E3 (Cream). Building upon this foundation, our supporting colours infuse vibrancy and dynamism into the visual narrative. Engaging and lively hues (with their lighter counterparts) symbolise the diversity and joy within the Clayers community, providing a visual representation of collaboration and shared passion.
However, it's important to note that these lighter tones are designed to be used in conjunction with their darker counterparts and not as standalone colours. This palette serves as a visual symphony, contributing to the energetic, creative, friendly, upbeat, and eclectic tone that defines the Clayers Collective brand.
